Brother
Background:
Brother UK, the UK sales company of Brother Industries Ltd, are the worldwide manufacturers of printers, fax machines and multi function business machines. They have operated a loyalty scheme with Argos Business Solutions since October 2000. Brother originally utilised the Argos A Card for their reward programme, and this was very successful in terms of customer loyalty and incremental sales.
What was the scheme trying to achieve / issues / challenges:
The key objective for Brother was to improve and reduce the administration of the schemes, whist also increasing the communication with scheme participants.
How the Hive has helped:
The launch of an on-line reward scheme by Brother in June 2002 has achieved the desired objectives and has been very well received by participants. The integrity of the generic Hive modules is proven and Brother have been able to develop their own bespoke modules to achieve desired business objectives.
Results:
The on-line reward scheme has provided Brother with a long term USP with the opportunity to develop modules in the future.
